The flagship product of wmobi was a modular tourist guide platform designed for private organisations and public administrative bodies.
The platform was built on the WM Group’s extensive database of tourist attractions, containing hundreds of points of interest across a wide range of categories—including sports facilities, shops, fuel stations, retail outlets, restaurants, monuments, and government offices. An integrated map formed the core of the experience, allowing users to quickly add locations to their navigation system while accessing a rich layer of contextual information. This made the platform suitable both for planning extended holidays and for quick weekend getaways.
The UX was therefore centred on the map and a structured catalogue of places, with seamless integration into navigation services. Clients could choose between a basic homepage template or a fully customised visual design, and extend the product with optional modules such as themed tourist trails, a photo booth, quests, or an events calendar.
Over the course of six years, the platform was deployed in dozens of mobile guides, supporting and promoting both regional and national tourism initiatives.
